The Skincare Edit

Happy Wednesday! Today’s post is all about skincare! As the months are now getting hotter and we are nearly in summer, it is so important to protect your skin and make sure it is kept healthy especially with the air and hear. I thought today’s post would show you guys what I use and why!

DISCLAIMER: The product that is specified was given for review. This post is not sponsored.

So first up are my makeup removers and primer water. I love the Bioderma Hydrabio micellar water and it is by far the best I have used. I have my Nivea micellar water in the back and the same for my AHA Cleansing Liquid, although as you have seen is now empty. I still haven’t properly tried the Lacura Charcoal water so if anyone has, please let me know your thoughts! Last but not least is the Primark primer water. It does help prime your makeup but when it’s hot, it cools you down a lot.

Next up are my face creams and gels. Up first is the Bioderma Hydrabio Creme. I don’t actually use this on my face because I have oily/combination skin but I do use it on my neck, shoulders and elbow to keep my skin looking healthy. Up next is the Anatomicals Hangover cream. I really like this cream, it’s hydrating but also makes my skin feel so smooth. It also brightens my skin a little, making me look awake which is all I want.

Then we have the Bioderma Gel-creme which is a light moisturiser. I use this on my cheeks and forehead to help keep my skin looking healthy and plump. Last up is the Sebamed Care Gel, this is for spots and blemishes and I haven’t started using it daily but I am excited as I have a few blemishes I would like to get rid of so I will update you guys if it works!

Next up is my serums. I don’t have a lot of them because I feel these two do the job really well. I alternate between these two and use one every other day. The first one is the Bioderma Hydrabio Serum and I love the way this makes my under eyes feels after application. It helps hydrate them and make them look like I’ve had 8 hours of sleep which I have never had! The second one is my Revolution 5% Caffeine + Hyaluronic Acid and this helps brighten my under eyes while making my bags go away.

It’s time for face washes! I don’t have too many as I like to change up my routine when I have finished the bottle but these are my current three that I rotate around every few days. First up is the L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox Wash. I really like this and it helps clear my skin and it makes it clean while cleansing my skin. Next up is the ProCoal Face Scrub. I was sent this to review in return for the product and I must say, I really like it. It does an amazing job and clearing my skin and helping it to clear the dirt in my pores. Last up is my trusty Soap & Glory Vitamin C Facial Wash. I have used this one for over a year now and It will always be my favourite. It helps clear my skin and keeps it looking healthy.

I always have different kinds of masks in my skincare basket but these two have been in there a while. It’s because I can get many uses out of them both. First up is the Apple Sheet Eye Masks. I like these as they keep my eyes hydrated but they are so weird. You put a wet piece of fabric over your eyes for 20 minutes. Next up is the Unicorn Peel-off Glitter Mask. I got this in one of the Unipockets from this year and I love this mask. I look like a glitter factory exploded on me. It is a good mask for taking out the impurities in my skin and I do recommend it for the glitter part!

I hope you enjoyed today’s post and I hope you all have an amazing week!
