I’m back! You probably didn’t notice I was gone but I sure did. I’ve spent the last two weeks trying to drag myself out of bed but I couldn’t. I didn’t really realise I was falling back into my old ways until I accepted it was happening. Luckily I think I’m back on the right track and the fact I have early lectures is making my sleep pattern go back to normal. I’m back and feeling good and that’s all that matters!
Today’s post is about my January Favourites including my top songs of the month!
Maybelline Super Stay Foundation
I have been living for this foundation this month. The coverage is insane and I bought it as a lot of people were raving about it. The shade is a little warm for me so I balance it out with a foundation that is too pale for me. It stays on my face for such a long time and I love the coverage! One of the best drugstore foundations out there!
Wet N Wild Blending Brush
I love makeup brushes and when I saw this one on the Beauty Bay website, I had to grab it while I could. It was really cheap so I wasn’t expecting it to be the best brush I’ve tried. It is really soft and I mean that. Some brushes, as they are synthetic has harsh brush hairs but this is so soft on the eyes. I love it to put shadow in the crease or to blend the transition shade and others together. If all of Wet N Wild’s brushes are like this, I need them all.
PS… Bulgarian Rose Parfum
I love Primark and when I saw they had started selling perfume, I jumped at the chance. I love wearing perfume but I don’t want to spend £50 on a bottle when I can spend £3 on something that smells just as good. I really like the notes in this one. As its called, the perfume is heavily scented with rose and it just smells like a businesswoman to me. It’s so cheap and I’ve had so many compliments from it!
Create: One Year Blog Planner
I love my blog and I love organising so when I was looking for a new blog planner on Amazon, I saw this one which has good reviews. I thought I would buy it even if I didn’t like it, I knew it would come in handy for me. Spoiler; it does work for me. I love the pages where you can brainstorm and also use the calendar to plan when content is going up and how far you have gotten with doing said content. I also love that at the end of each month (which by the way, not written down so you can start at any month in the year and still have the book for a year), there is a review of the month. I love reviewing my stats and seeing how I’ve grown. For only £12, it’s a really good bargain.
Primark Storage Baskets
If you have read my post on storing my makeup, you will know how much of a fan I am for these. They cost £2 and are just so helpful. I use to keep my most used makeup in a little acrylic makeup organiser but I found with these baskets, you can get to everything more easily and with them stored into categories, you know where everything is. I don’t know if they still sell them but honestly, they are so good. You can use them for anything! I use one for my skincare and I wish I had more around the house for everything!
MAC Lipstick – D for Danger
Last but not least is this MAC Lipstick in D for Danger. Jack got me this as a present and it is such a beautiful deep red with hints of purple. It is a matte lipstick and is so beautiful on the lips. With some mattes, my lips get really dry but with this, it makes them feel so soft even though it is matte.
January Playlist
So there are my January Favourites! I’m so happy to be back and I am feeling a lot better with myself for coming back to focus on what makes me happy!
