2018 Reflection

It’s the end of 2018 which I cannot believe we are here. This year has gone so quickly but also slowly at the same time? I don’t know how that works but to end the year, here is my Reflection of 2018.

This year has been one of the hardest and most amazing of my life. There has been so many ups and downs and it feels like I’m at the end of the 2018 rollercoaster finally.

If you told me in January that by December I would be living with the love of my life, surrounded with people that actually care about me, I would have said it was a lie. A lot of things go wrong for me and this year didn’t hold back from that.

Jack and I have been through so much this year and we’re stronger than ever. Fake friendships, money problems and probably everything else you name it. We’re so much better and I couldn’t imagine experiencing any of this without him.

I’m not going to talk about the negative too much but there is something I will say. I have learned a lot about people this year. How suddenly when things aren’t the way they want, they will turn on you and leave you out in the cold. How you can think people like you and find out your “friends” talk about you behind your back. It is honestly madness.

I have learned a lot about forgiveness and kindness this year. I forgive too easily and I’m too kind to people who don’t deserve it. I’ve learnt that I need to be cautious when it comes to people.

Through that, I have met the most caring, passionate, amazing bunch of people. We were friends before but they actually care about me. You know who you are. During a dark place for a few weeks, they really helped me get through some stuff. Becky, that heart to heart in the Mosh smoking area really helped. I love them and I can’t wait to make 2019 even better with them.

I feel like I’ve done so much this year and I’m so proud of myself. There have been some really dark times but I am so glad I’ve come out of the other side and am better for it. Here are some of the things I have done this year.

I got my third tattoo

I got my first blog planner

It snowed for the first time in years!

Jack and I celebrated one year together and on the same day, I turned 20!

We had our first barbeque in our then house

I got more confident with showing my body in photos

We moved into our own little flat

I cut my hair even shorter and even dyed it all blonde!

I went to my 2nd Prezzybox Jingle Mingle

I travelled down to London for the Makeup Revolution party and met some of my favourite influencers!

I finally got a job after a year and started working for Card Factory!

I found the most amazing people after losing some horrible ones and yes this is photoshopped! We don’t actually have one all of us together yet!

I started Blogmas and even though this year I didn’t finish it, I lasted over 20 days!

I’m bringing in the New Year with some of my favourite people!

2018 may have been rocky but I am going to make 2019 one of the best years yet. I hope you will stick around for that journey.

Thank you to everyone who is still with me on this crazy journey. I can’t wait for 2019 to be better than ever!

See You Soon! Posts will resume on the 10th of January as I need time to plan them for you! There will also be a Bullet Journal 2019 setup post for you all!
