The Highlighter Edit

I really liked doing The Lip Edit so I thought I would do another and this time show you guys my favourite highlighting products! Most of these are Revolution as I don’t want to spend too much money on expensive ones so I apologise in advance but they are my favourite brand.

Revolution Strobe Balm

I got this free in a goodie bag and I am always sceptical with liquid and balm-like highlighters and you never know if they’re going to cling to dry patches or not. I really like this under my foundation, it gives the high points of my face natural looking glow but also it has a yellow-green shift to it and it’s so beautiful on the skin.

Revolution Skin Kiss

I use this highlighter every day. This was the first one I bought after I realised my gold one from Kiko was too dark for me. It is such a blinding highlight and the shimmer in it is so pretty. I love that the pan is so big and the product is so cheap! I have been using this for at least 4 months now and I still haven’t hit pan yet!

PS… Highlighting Drops

I got these in the sale and I thought they would look cute in the summer on my body and they did bring shimmer to my chest but they also gave me a cute base. These drops are so beautiful and they brighten up the skin so beautifully. I have found it doesn’t cling to makeup much which is nice if you wanna use it over the top of your highlight. They work so well and are so cheap!

Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter

As you all know, I’m so pale and when I saw this highlighter, I knew I needed it. It is so blinding with a yellow shift to it. When added on top of other highlighters, it makes them brighter and more blinding. Again this was £4 and for something so cheap that works? Sign me up!

Revolution Platinum Ingot Highlighter

I bought this highlighter in the sale and I am so glad I did! It is so pretty and although you have to really dig your brush in it, the payoff is so pretty. You get a decent amount of product for only a couple of pounds as well. Can you tell I love Revolution products??

NYX Love Contours All Palette

Now yes, I know this isn’t just a highlight and is a full face palette but the highlighters in this palette are so pigmented and so pretty on the skin! I normally use the gold one on my lids as eyeshadow and the pink for highlight. It is such a beautiful highlight with I think silver reflect in it. It helps to make the highlight more blinding! I’ve talked about this palette many times before but I still love the versatility of it!

Revolution Rainbow Highlighter

Last but not least is the Revolution (again?!) Rainbow Highlighter! I gave one of these away last year and picked one up for myself as well as I have only had one colour highlighters. I was intrigued how the blue, purple and green would look on my skin but it turns out, pretty darn good. I love this highlight and if you’re going on a night out, this is so stunning under club lights!
