The Autumn Tag

Autumn is my second favourite season and seeing as it has come around again, I thought I would do this tag! I got this from Grace so check out her post as well!

What signifies the start of Autumn for you?

When the days get cooler and the leaves start to fall from the trees. Also when coffee shops start to sell their autumn drinks.

What is your favourite Autumn scent?

Probably cinnamon/bonfires. Cinnamon is an autumn smell to me and the smell of burning wood from the bonfire is just so nice when mixed with the coldness of the night.

What is your favourite Autumn colour?

Probably dark green. It is such a beautiful colour and I have been wearing a lot of it recently and it just reminds me of rainy days.

Are you a fan of a PSL (pumpkin spice latte)?

I actually have never tried one. I don’t really like pumpkin but I know it won’t taste like that so I’ll stick to my trust caramel latte.

What is your favourite Autumn drink?

I love a spiced latte (cinnamon etc.) but I normally just drink caramel lattes all year round.

What’s your favourite coffee shop and their drink of choice?

I love Costa but I’m going to have to say, Cafe Nero. Their caramel lattes are so good and much cheaper than Costa.

Apple pie or Pumpkin pie?

Apple Pie! You can’t beat a good apple pie and custard! I may be biased cause I’m English but it’s still one of the best desserts.

What TV show, new or old are you looking forward to in the next few months?

I am a little apprehensive about this one but I loved The Vampire Diaries so I kind of have to watch Legacies which premieres on the 25th of this month. I just want it to be good. I am excited about the new season of Always Sunny in Philidelphia as well, loved the previous 12 seasons so I’m hoping this one will live up to the legacy.

What is your favourite Autumn fashion trend?

I love that cheque is back in and leather too. I think modesty dressing is now a thing and I really love the bulk jackets as hopefully, they’ll keep us warm! I say us as you can probably fit two people in one of them.

What is your favourite comfort food to enjoy in the colder months?

Mince Pies. Now that Christmas is basically on its way, Mince Pies begin to hit the shelves. I think they’re a staple in every Christmas I have had. They’re just so nice? I used to make mince slabs with my nan and they were so good!

What is your favourite Autumn activity?

I don’t really have a favourite thing to do but I would say going on a walk and watching the sunset. I love autumn sunsets as it’s early, you can wrap up in a scarf and kick leaves around.

Are you a fan of horror movies?

Nope. I like some but I hate gore and jump-scares! I’ll watch them if I can hold onto someone aka Jack.

Do you ever do anything fun for Halloween?

As I’m at Uni we normally go out or have a party! Last year I was working so I couldn’t go out but at Uni, there is like three nights where you can dress up so I still got to dress up and have fun. This year I think we’re having a party and Jack and I are going in a couples costume but that you will see later this month!

What was your favourite part about Halloween as a child?

So I mostly always went as a ghost and I loved going trick or treating with my sister as I think I was happy I was staying up late.

Are you a bigger fan of Bonfire night or Halloween?

I like both. I really don’t have a preference. I like both of the days but I do prefer fireworks so there’s that.

Where is your dream destination to visit in the Autumn?

I would love to visit Poland or Iceland because they’re beautiful places. If I had to pick somewhere not in Europe I would say Puerto Rico/Mexico as I would love to see how their Autumn is different to ours.

Do you always forget about the clocks going back?

As all my clocks are digital, I don’t need to remember to put them back but I do make note of the date so I know when I lose and gain hours.

When do you usually start preparing for Christmas?

I like being organised so I make sure I know who I am buying presents for by the end of October. I also make sure all my Blogmas posts are planned by the end of October to write through November.

I tag anyone who wants to do this tag! Have fun with it!
