My Favourite Songs This Month

Today’s post is a little different and I am going to be showing you my March playlist and my top 3 songs of the month! I may not do this every month but if I feel like it and you guys like this kind of thing then I will!

So this month was full of me finding new music, there were some songs I really didn’t know existed! Here is my full playlist:

I loved all the songs I found this month, my top 3 for this month are below! If you read my blog, you will know I love music and March brought some gems like Freaky by Trisha Paytas, Deadwood by Predawn, No Excuses by Meghan Trainor and Strangers by Sigrid. All of these songs are just so different to each other and they are just really nice to listen to when writing!

My Top 3:

3. The Middle – Zedd, Maren Morris, Grey

To start off my top 3, we have Middle by Zedd. I heard this song in a Matt Steffanina video and I fell in love with it. There is such a nice dynamic to the beats and the way the song has been put together. I really like the chorus of the song and it reminds me that summer is coming!

2. Dancing – Kylie Minogue

The queen is back! I found this song on the off chance and have loved it since I first heard it. It reminds me so much of Dolly Parton which I think that is what she was going for. She has a new album out this year and if all of her songs are as catchy as this, I am going to love it! The chorus is one of my favourites she has ever done. I think the song is just so well made and combining pop and country has helped Kylie unlock something as I really think she is good at country music!

1. Some Girls by Hailee Steinfeld

Ever since I saw Hailee in Pitch Perfect, I couldn’t wait for her music to be released. I loved some of her singles but this song is just perfect. It is a perfect mix between a pop and a club song. I mean, I would dance to this in a club. The lyrics n the song are really beautiful and is talking about our bodies basically. I mean, the lyrics “You know some days you feel so good in your own skin, But it’s okay if you wanna change the body that you came in” are literally so beautiful and they really speak to me.

I love all three of these songs so much, I listen to them all at least once a day!

What are your favourite songs this month? Do you have any of the same as mine?

I love The Middle and Most Girls – have you seen the music video for Most Girls? It’s so empowering and also makes me want to take up kickboxing! I’ve been loving Bea Miller this month, her album is honestly the best I’ve heard in a while. xx
