If you don’t follow me on Instagram or Snapchat then you probably haven’t seen the lipsticks that I wear. I absolutely love matte liquid lipsticks but I also like some lipsticks. I thought today I would tell you guys my Top 5 Lipsticks for January 2018, I may do this every 6 months like a favourites post but every half of the year?
5. Primark Super Matte Liquid Lipstick – Karla
This is one of my top 5 because it is so cheap but the formula is amazing. It isn’t too drying and the colour is just beautiful for a nude. I really like the way it dries, it does dry a little too much but it isn’t the worst formula I have tried. You can get this for under £3 from Primark. If you want a cheap but good liquid matte, I would look at the range of these.
4. Maybelline New York 207 – Pink Fling
I got this for my 18th birthday from my best friends so it has lasted a while and I used to wear this every day before I came to Uni. I love the packaging of this and although I don’t like glossy lipsticks, this one nourishes my lips really well. I really like the colour as you can either use a thin layer or build it up. For under £8, it is a good bargain!
3. MAC Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour – Burnt Spice
This is one of the first MAC lipsticks I have bought and I bought it this month. I am already in love with it so much. The formula of the lipstick is just outstanding and for £17.50, I hoped it would be. It is so soft on the lips and it isn’t streaky. Below is a comparison of the colours between the MAC and Primark lipstick as they do look similar but the Primark lipstick on the left is a little darker. Burnt Spice lasts for a long time which I am happy about!
2. Maybelline New York 886, Bold – Berry Bossy
I bought this before Christmas and I didn’t really have a berry colour and I am already in love with it. Again like my other MNY lipstick, this one is so nourishing and putting it on, it feels like you’re gliding butter across your lips. The colour is bold and I really love the way it looks on me. Again this one is under £8 so a bargain!
1. Morphe Liquid Lipstick – Nibble
I didn’t know Morphe did liquid lipsticks until I was deep in a Beauty Bay order. My sister got me two of these for Christmas and I wore it on Christmas too. It is long lasting and it doesn’t dry down too much but enough that it doesn’t rub off. I really love the brown tone of this lipstick for £12.50, it is a good amount of products and the formula is very good as well.
So there are my Top 5 Lipsticks, do you have any of the same?
