So I have done a few of these favourites posts but I didn’t really have a structure to them so I have come up with a list of things that I will talk about each month that I have loved in that month! (if that makes sense!) and some others that I have just loved this month! Shall we get on with this month’s favourites?
Stabilo point 88 Fineliner Pens
These pens are so good! They have been my lifesaver with bullet journalling and with them being so thin, I can understand my writing when using them. There is a range of colours which I love and I’m currently loving green and the dark green in this pack is honestly my favourite from them all at the moment. I got them from Blackwell’s at my University for I think it was £7 so definitely a good buy ad they last long!
TV Shows – Jane The Virgin, Riverdale and Dynasty
Now you would think with the release of Stanger Things 2, it would make it into my favourites this month but although I loved the season, I binged it and watched it within three days. I really did enjoy it but it is not one of my favourites this month. With the return of Riverdale (S2) and Jane The Virgin (S4), I was so excited for these shows to return because I binge watched Riverdale last year and caught up and couldn’t wait for the second season. I already love it so much and am eager to find out who the Black Hood is! I have my theories but I would love to hear yours down in the comments!
Now I have been watching Jane The Virgin since it came out and I was so excited for this new season especially as Tyler Posey joined the cast! I love Teen Wolf and seeing him play something other than a teenage wolf boy is really nice. Anyway, I only watch this show because I love how it is kind of like a Telenovela and the plot lines are just so nicely written!
The last show that is on my favourites list this month is Dynasty. Now I have to admit, I have not see the original Dynasty but I am hoping to watch it soon. I saw a trailer for this a while ago and I instantly recognised Nathalie Kelley who was Sybil in The Vampire Diaries (she is also dating Matt Donavan in real life!) and I was so happy to see her in something else. Honestly, this show is so good! It has romance, violence, betrayal and basically family arguments which are very tense!
You can check out all these shows on Netflix as they are uploaded weekly!
Music – Who’s Molly?, Kendrick Lamar and Gabbie Hanna
If you don’t already know, I love a range of music styles and this month, I have listened to a large range of music but two songs and one album are my favourites for this month.
So this month, I found a song from my Spotify discover playlist I think it was called Top of The World and it is by Who’s Molly? Now I think the song is from a video I have watched before but I can’t remember for some reason. I love the whole song and it always makes me motivated to get on with some work.
The album that I am loving this month is DAMN. by Kendrick Lamar. I first heard Kendrick when I was searching for new music back in 2013 and I heard Swimming Pools and instantly loved it. When DAMN. came out, Jack was so excited about it but I didn’t see the hype (I hadn’t listened to it at this point). I was working one afternoon and just played Kendrick from his Artist page on Spotify and heard some more songs off DAMN. and instantly loved it. I think my favourite song off the album would have to be either ELEMENT or HUMBLE cause they have stuck with me and I can remember the words to both of those!
The last music favourite fo mine this month is Out Loud by Gabbie Hanna. Now you may recognise Gabbie as she was TheGabbieShow on YouTube but has recently changed that to Gabbie Hanna now. I first heard this song a few weeks ago but didn’t really pay attention to it but I actually love it so much right now. I probably will play it every day for a while.
All of these are on Spotify and iTunes so check them out!
I cannot remember where I found this but I think it was in London or Birmingham but I instantly loved it. I needed a coaster for mine and Jacks desk and I love Gin. It’s so quirky and very true!
PS… Matte Liquid Lipstick
This has been one of my go-to lipsticks for this month. I have worn it so much that I think it nearly out of product! The colour is the shade Karla and it is a gorgeous middle brown colour. The lipstick is a matte and it dries really nicely. It isn’t sticky and stays on for a good amount of time, I think maybe more than my Jeffree Star liquid lipstick. This was cheap as well, I think it was around £2.50 and for such a good lipstick, this is definitely a good buy!
Well, there are my October favourites! I hope you like them as much as I do! If you did have some of the same favourites, let me know!
Till Next Time.
